Skills
While my main focus has always been on pencil draughting, I have always taken the time to develop my digital skills as new techniques and programs come to the fore.
I currently draw using AutoCAD for both 2D and 3D work.
I also use sketchup, and I'm fluent in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Experience
Early on in my career, I was lucky enough to be taken on to the last Harry Potter film as a Junior Draughtsman. Surrounded as I was by a team of the most extraordinarily talented draughtsmen I couldn't help but be inspired to find my role in the art department as a draughtsman.
My experience since then on feature films such as the Fantastic Beasts series, Justice League, Tarzan and the Man From U.N.C.L.E has given me both the opportunity to continue learning from the best in the business, and to build a solid foundation of knowledge of a wide range of styles, techniques and periods.
The future...
I love being a draughtsman - there's always something new to learn.
My aim is to continue developing my skill in my current role.
Since I was so lucky with my early experiences, I also enjoy working with juniors, passing on that knowledge. I hope to continue improving my teaching and supervisory skills.
